So...I've registered for my last semester of classes. I have my schedule exactly as I want it to be. My financial aid was approved early. Everything was in place, except childcare for my 1 year old daughter. She is not old enough to go to the daycare at school. My husband and I are not financially equipped to use an agency to hire a nanny, yet. So, what did I do? I cried.
Then I took the time to get really clear on what I wanted. Here's what I came up with:
I choose to be quickly connected with an available, fiercely reliable childcare provider that my husband, daughter and I love. We are able to pay her top rate for her services.
Guess how long it took for this to come into my life... Go on, guess. OK, I'll tell you. Within an hour, I had the perfect person, who would not only care for my daughter while I was in school, but who would also take me to school and pick me up again after class. I LOVE my life!
Where are your intentions? Are they clear? How do you know if thery're clear...? Look around your life. Do you have whatever it is that you say you want? If the answer is no, you aren't clear and allowing.

Joy
"Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn't stop to enjoy it."
William Feather
Writer

Today, when this quote found me, I was reminded of truth. The truth is that we choose to incarnate, specifically to experience joy. Why, then, would I choose to focus on anything that does not serve that purpose? I will not. When I am tempted to worry or fret, I will remember that if I am not in joy, I am not fulfilling my purpose here on this plane. My sole purpose is to watch my daughter's beautiful face and join her in her laughter. My sole purpose is to play games with my husband and enjoy the pleasure on his face when he beats me. My sole purpose is to have conversations with my friends that entice me to say, "Oh, wow! That's funny."
Your sole purpose in this life is to experience joy. It can be found in the face of a loved one. Nature is overflowing with joy-inducing stimuli. Just this morning, I saw a flower that I'd never seen before on my way home. When I ride the train into St. Louis, there is nothing more beautiful than the trees that surround the tracks. Unless, of course, I get to see a deer grazing or puppies playing in a backyard.
Create some joy in your life and put your laser focus there.

Add love
So, I haven't been able to keep things clean around here. Clutter's run amuck and the kitchen is always an eyesore. Well, I finally realized that with this attitude, I'd always have a cluttered space and a messy kitchen.
No, I didn't change my attitude about doing the dishes, nor do I suddenly like to declutter and clean windows (well, I've always liked to declutter).
So, what's my secret, you ask. Well, love, of course. Just think of the end results and add love. I think about how much I love having a clean kitchen and I don't realize that I've done the dishes or wiped down the counters with no effort. I think of how much I want my daughter to be happy and healthy and suddenly it's no big deal that I've had thrush for well over a year.
When you're faced with that thing that you really don't want to do, think of how you'll feel to have it done and you'll find new enthusiasm for doing it. Or you'll realize that you don't really want to do it after all, which is another entry.

Mirrors
I have known for some time that the poeple in our lives are mirrors. What you love in someone exists in yourself. If it did not, you would not even be able to recognize it in someone else. Today, I had a powerful realization that launched me into another energetic plane. I am a coach, a writer, a teacher, and an artist. Oh, and wealthy! I am surrounded by fabulously wealthy people. When I finally open the door to the good that is available to me, mountains will move.
